Mojo Foster was born and raised in California. After finishing graduate school, and deciding to not be a teacher..... More
he started tattooing at Empire Tattoo in Upland, CA., after a brief apprenticeship at Empire in Rialto under the tutelage of Mike Trike and Shawn Warcot. Earning his chops in a street shop for eight and a half years with Roger, Jon and Dewey, Mojo decided to pack it in and move to the big city of Pasadena.
Landing a job at Incognito Tattoo in the summer of 2001, Mojo delved deeper into the history and traditions of tattooing with the help of his esteemed coworkers Jason, Dennis and John. Working in a custom shop with a wealth of talented artists including Kore Flatmo and Henry Lewis drove his desire to to create and push himself further.
Suddenly, Mojo received a call from his dear friend Kat Von D. who offered him a job in the even bigger, if a bit dirty (in a sexy way), city of Hollywood, CA at High Voltage Tattoo, home of L.A. Ink. Mojo then saved the world from impending doom and everyone lived happily ever after.
